Jewish community, wherever you are.
Be a part of something big.
At Mem Global, there’s no one way to be Jewish. Whether you’re a Shabbat regular or looking up “What is Shabbat” right now, you belong here. We’re a peer-led community of Jewish young adults in their 20s and 30s where you don’t just join in; you shape what happens next. Local, intimate, and part of a global network, we’re all about creating a Jewish life that’s vibrant, authentic, and meaningful. Bring your questions, your chutzpah, and whatever makes you, you. This is your community—wherever you are.

Clayton, GA
Educator: David Heilbron
Can we talk about the pil (elephant) in the room? Conversations around Israel are rarely easy or comfortable; yet, as Mem Global community members, they come with the territory. Join us for our Jewish Learning Retreat, Threads of Hatikvah: Navigating Israel with 4HQ, where we will deep-dive into how to create and facilitate questions about Israel. The Four Hatikva Questions (4HQ), created by Robbie Gringras, is a modality used by Mem Global for years as an approach to Israel dialogue that teaches Moishe House Residents, MHWOW Hosts, and alumni how to create programs about Israel that spur conversation, thought, and introspection. Participants will leave 4HQ with facilitation skills, not talking points.
This retreat is in partnership with Masa Israel Journey and being made possible in part through the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.
This retreat will offer kosher-certified meals and will be fully Shabbat observant.

Jewish Learning RetreatsJewish Learning RetreatsExodus & Action: A Journey Toward Justice
Petaluma, CA
Educator: Jessica Herrmann
Spend a weekend immersing yourself in the ancient story of our Exodus from Egypt, exploring the rituals of the Passover seder and examining how the story of Passover connects to the justice challenges we face in the world today.
Join us for Exodus & Action: A Journey Toward Justice powered by Repair the World, March 28-30 at Walker Creek Ranch in Petaluma, CA. We’ll dive deep together examining the themes of liberation, resistance and justice with learning sessions, discussion groups and art projects. We’ll enjoy Shabbat together, have a mock seder, and tie all of our explorations together with hands-on service projects and reflections on today’s justice landscape and challenges. You’ll go home with great memories, new friends and all the tools you need to facilitate meaningful, justice-inspired discussions during your own Passover seder.
This retreat will offer kosher-style meals and will not be fully Shabbat observant.

Everyone knows Fiddler on the Roof. Everyone loves ‘Tradition’. But do you know who Shalom Aleichem was? Have you read Chaim Potok’s ‘The Chosen’, Itzik Manger’s ‘The Book of Paradise’, or Jean Meltzer’s ‘The Matzah Ball’?
Join us on this Jewish Learning Retreat as we explore the world of 20th and 21st Century Jewish Literature and Film, how it’s shaped our Jewish culture today, and finally answer the question of what’s the most Jewish film ever made (and why it’s obviously When Harry Met Sally).
