Emily Mathae

Emily was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, exactly 2.3 miles from the Moishe House she currently lives in. After converting to Judaism, Moishe House was just the thing Emily needed. Since becoming a resident in May 2017, Moishe House has changed her life. She is extremely grateful for all of the experiences she’s had and that are to come. Not only does Emily live in a Jewish house, but she’s also a Jewish professional at The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington. She works in the Department of Jewish Life and Learning and is extremely passionate about Jewish education. Outside of Moishe House and work, you can find her at trivia night, heading to concerts/singing in her car at the top of her lungs, baking delicious treats, crafting or at events around the DC area.
