Joelle Abramowitz

Joelle is a New Jersey native who made her way to Ann Arbor via Brussels, Hong Kong, Chicago, Seattle, and DC. She is a PhD economist and avid cyclist and bike commuter and enjoys cooking, baking and tangoing when she is not hosting MHWOW events. She is also a board member of the Jewish Young Professionals of Ann Arbor and a member of the Limmud Michigan steering committee.
Joelle saw a need for Jewish learning in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She started the “Delicious Deep Dive” discussion series, where she and her participants have discussed mental health, white lies, envy and more. There is not a Moishe House in Ann Arbor, so her impact is deeply felt in the community.
