Jonah Rothstein
Associate Director, Jewish Education Retreats
Encinitas, CA
As Moishe House’s Associate Director of Jewish Learning Retreats, Jonah spends his days thinking about locations, meals, travel, educators and everything else that goes into creating unique, immersive Jewish Learning and Leadership Retreats in North America. And that’s all before he gets to dive deep to help create enriching, engaging Jewish content that helps young adults develop the skills they need to share what they learn with their own communities. In his role, he feels privileged to be able to shape the content of Jewish learning for so many people. And it’s no problem for Jonah to juggle lots of different Retreats at one time, because his super power is having a great memory.
Originally from Minneapolis, Jonah attended the University of Hartford where he graduated with a BA in Judaic Studies and International Studies. He came to Moishe House from Ithaca, New York where he worked as the Reform Engagement Associate and Springboard Fellow: Jewish Education Specialist for Cornell Hillel.
