Ronnie Abraham

Moishe House Toronto – Maple Leaf Gardens Resident

Pronouns: he/him

Ronnie (he/him) is a current resident of Moishe House Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada. As a faithful member of his Moishe House for two and a half years, he has been heavily involved in the process of growing communities—with a focus on queer community building in his own residence. He is an Adenite Jew from England, and having come from a tight-knit Adenite community in North East London, he brings a desire for close community bonds with him into all of his work. His time as a resident has given him, and his fellow residents, the chance to host events ranging from a Middle Eastern cooking series to Pride events to Shabbats in the park.  Outside of Moishe House, he works in Sales Management, is learning ASL, and is desperately waiting for the pandemic to be over.
