Moishe Pod Greensboro
Shalom, y’all!
Welcome to the Moishe House Pod in Greensboro, your home for vibrant Jewish community right here in the heart of the Triad!
We’re located in the beautiful and welcoming Starmount neighborhood of Greensboro, a city with deep Jewish roots and a rich cultural legacy. From the iconic Moses Cone—textile magnate, philanthropist, and namesake of the beloved Blue Ridge Parkway estate—to long-standing institutions like Temple Emanuel and Beth David Synagogue, Greensboro’s Jewish story is one of resilience, generosity, and connection. We’re proud to continue that legacy, building Jewish life that’s joyful, meaningful, and totally our own.
We’re nestled near some of Greensboro’s best coffee shops, parks, and gathering spots. And yes, there’s always something delicious (and free!) on the table.
Whether you message us beforehand or just pop in, you’ll be met with open arms. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for everyone—regardless of background, gender, relationship status, experience, or how you personally “do Jewish.”
Your Moishe House hosts love dreaming up meaningful and fun events—from Shabbat dinners and holiday celebrations to hikes, happy hours, athletic events, Jewish knowledge workshops, and volunteer projects. If you’ve got a creative idea or something you want to see in Greensboro Jewish life, let’s make it happen together.
We’re here to build community, make memories, and carry on the story of Jewish life in Greensboro—from Moses Cone’s era to yours.
We can’t wait to meet you. See you soon!
