This Rosh Chodesh, it’s time to stop fooling around – wait, make that start fooling around! — and discover your inner clown. Through classic clown exercises and hilarious workshops, our expert jesters will help you develop your own clown persona, all while exploring how clowns embody what it means to be honest, vulnerable, and connected to others. It’s big shoes to fill – but hey, we know you can juggle it all. So if you’re ready to have fun, get silly, and find your fool, this is the retreat for you!

    Base is the home of a Rabbinic family which serves as a home-base for community, learning, and mentorship. Join your Base community for a weekend retreat where we will celebrate Shabbat together through spirited song, discussion, and prayer (traditional and experimental) and of course food and play! For this retreat, we are only accepting applications from individuals who actively participate in the Base Manhattan community.

    This retreat will be Shabbat observant, and there will be kosher food served.
