    Moishe Pod – Charlotte Resident

    Pronouns: she/her

    Alison (she/her) is a resident of Moishe Pod Charlotte- South End, formerly of Moishe House Fort Lauderdale. After grad mechanical engineering school, she moved down to Florida knowing nobody, but quickly built a life and a wonderful community through her involvement in Moishe House. Alison recently moved to Charlotte and is now working to do the same there. It’s important to her to be able to build a space where people feel welcomed and at home, and comfortable with their Jewish identities. She longs for the day when she can host another big Shabbat dinner! Alison loves building things, solving puzzles, petting animals, and trying out new experiments with food- she’s currently working on cheesemaking and homebrewing! She’s excited to work with other residents as part of the RAB to make Moishe House experiences even greater.
