Anya Gips is our Northeast Community Manager. She holds both an MSW and a LCSW, is a community builder, creative program facilitator, and all-around people person. Born and raised in New Jersey, Anya has been fortunate to call several cities home, including Miami, Philadelphia, and now Boston!
With a background in both clinical and community social work, Anya brings a holistic, inclusive approach to designing joyful, creative programs that help individuals find a sense of belonging in their communities. Her experience ranges from pioneering long-term recovery programs for disaster survivors to leading educational and social initiatives at Jewish nonprofit organizations that foster connection, engagement, and community.
Outside of work, Anya enjoys metalsmithing, trying new restaurants in Boston, and getting lost in a good book.
