Associate Director, Global Jewish Education

Igal is our Associate Director, Global Retreats and Jewish Education. He has been working in traditional Jewish communities throughout his career and has always been involved in Jewish education through Jewish youth movements. Igal first became involved with Mem Global after witnessing and being intrigued by the new types of communities which were being built and which were different from those he had experienced previously. He is looking forward to contributing to the meaningful work done through Mem Global, by supporting and driving the logistics and planning of events and retreats, all across the globe.

Igal has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Philosophy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Masters degree in Social Interventions from the University of Barcelona. While he was born in Argentina, Igal has had the opportunity to live in a number of countries around the globe. Now, he resides in Barcelona with his wife and two sons.
