Moishe House Chicago – Hyde Park Resident & Peer-Led Retreat Facilitator

Chicago, IL

Yitzhak is the director of Moot Beit Din at Hadar, overseeing programs that empower students to grapple with contemporary moral issues through the prism of Jewish law and ethics. While a graduate student, Yitzhak founded a Moishe House in Hyde Park, Chicago​,​ and is thrilled to now mentor Moishe House residents as a Jewish educator. He has had the pleasure of teaching on many Moishe House immersive experiences including​ ​staff and peer-led​ retreats, 4HQ Israel Encounters​,​ and Camp NaiNaiNai. Yitzhak is a FASPE Ethics fellow (Fellowship at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics) and is deeply committed to exploring Jewish values. Yitzhak has studied at the University of Chicago Divinity School and Yeshiva University​.
