At Base, the heart of our mission is not just building vibrant Jewish life and community—it’s fostering a culture of continuous learning and reflection.

We collaborate with external evaluators, funders, and consultants to refine our program model, measure impact, and establish meaningful performance indicators. At the same time, we conduct our own research in partnership with rabbis, educators, and community members, always guided by the question: “What’s working, and what’s not?”

For us, how we approach our work is as important as the work itself. We draw inspiration from the transparency and wisdom of those who have shared their successes and challenges publicly, and we’re committed to paying it forward. By sharing our learnings and asking bold, reflective questions, we aim to contribute to a broader movement—one that empowers others to build Jewish communities rooted in thoughtfulness, curiosity, and impact.
