Our Impact
Building a Global Jewish Community Together
Mem Global gives young adults a chance to explore Jewish life, connect with peers, and be a part of a global Jewish community that is both local and intimate, yet connected to something much bigger. Because our programs are driven by our young adult Community Builders themselves, they naturally evolve to meet the needs of their peers and can respond to an ever-changing world – and we see them rise to this challenge every day in incredible ways. We see everyone involved with Mem Global as our community and together, we’re creating opportunities for Jewish young adults to celebrate, explore, and embrace Jewish identity in ways that feel meaningful, authentic, and true to themselves.

External Evaluations
Measuring Success and Sparking Innovation
At Mem Global, we know that vibrant Jewish community is rooted in understanding its impact and constantly evolving to meet the needs of Jewish young adults worldwide. That’s why we prioritize comprehensive evaluations to ensure our programs not only resonate but also create meaningful change.
By reaching out to residents, resident alumni, MHWOW (Moishe House Without Walls) hosts, community members, and past participants, we gather valuable insights into the heartbeat of the global young adult Jewish community. These evaluations reveal how our participants grow – whether it’s in their connection to Jewish community, their confidence as leaders, or their knowledge of Jewish rituals.
This isn’t just about metrics; it’s about stories. Evaluations have paved the way for some of Mem Global’s most significant milestones, like the creation of our Jewish Learning Retreats and the expansion of MHWOW. What started as a program for Resident alumni now extends its arms to a much broader audience, empowering individuals everywhere to lead and build community on their own terms.
By staying curious and intentional, we ensure that Mem Global programs remain dynamic, impactful, and deeply connected to the lives of the young adults we serve. Together, we’re not just building programs – we’re shaping the future of Jewish community.
2018 Evaluation
The most recent external evaluation was conducted by Informing Change and was published in the spring of 2018. This evaluation was the first to include a longitudinal component and showed that Moishe House programming is having long-term impact on Jewish young adults as they move in to other stages of life.
2015 Evaluation
Moishe House’s 2015 independent evaluation built upon the comprehensive study conducted in 2011. In 2015, we focused on learning more about its impact during its expansion, including the behavioral and attitudinal impact of Moishe House on residents, alumni and participants.
2011 Evaluation
In 2011, Moishe House completed a two-year external evaluation that was conducted by The TCC Group. The evaluation was commissioned by the Jim Joseph Foundation and included interviews, focus groups, site visits and a large scale online survey.
