Rena Branson (she/they) is a Jewish composer, ritual leader, and educator who uplifts personal and collective healing through song. An alum of Hadar’s Rising Song Institute Residency and founder of A Queer Nigun Project, she offers heart-opening music and prayer services in Jewish communities across the US. Rena has recorded dozens of Hasidic melodies as well as two original albums, “Love Is the Ground” and “In Doing & In Dreaming.” They also offer lessons in a range of Jewish Studies topics for adult learners, as well as private sessions for folks to explore singing as a spiritual practice and healing modality.
