Cantor Rosalie Will brings more than 25 years of experience in training songleaders, leading worship, and creating singing communities. After 16 years with Temple Emanuel in Kensington, MD, she now consults congregations on issues of worship, music, and synagogue transition, and she mentors clergy in the field. She is founder and Executive Director of Sing Unto God, a non-profit dedicated to elevating the practice and impact of communal singing by supporting young songleaders for congregations and camps, and supporting deepening dynamic prayer experiences.
She produces and currates events and immersive experiences which create sacred healing environments and models the cutting edge of worship and music thinking. Rosalie trains communal singing professionals on best principles for engagement as well as singing for justice, and is the author of Songleading: A Work of Art. Rosalie also supports the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) on issues of prayer, spirituality and music as a consultant.
Rosalie was ordained from the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music of HUC-JIR in New York, and served as Vice-President for Member Relations of the American Conference of Cantors (ACC).
