By Loán Lake

New Communities in the Moisheverse!

In September, Moishe House welcomed two new communities to our global network – Moishe House Auckland in New Zealand and Moishe Pod Charleston in South Carolina.

With the recent opening of their new home, Moishe House Auckland residents are eager to spread their joy for all things Jewish with their fellow New Zealanders. Weekly programming will be led by Daniel Josephs (a lawyer), Sapeer Mayron (a journalist), and Seth Schanzer (an architect).   Seth and Daniel were regular attendees at past Moishe House events and are excited to bring their personal spin to create meaningful programming for their peers. All three residents enjoy leading robust discussions about the state of the global Jewish community and nurturing unique traditions and Jewish expressions from Shabbat rituals to Tikkun Olam. To find out about their upcoming events, follow them on Facebook, Instagram, visit their webpage, or email them at Mohoauckland@gmail.com

South Carolina’s Low Country is about to be the hub of activity for Jewish young adults in their 20s and early 30s thanks to Jill Goodman and Jordan Kodner, the hosts of Moishe Pod Charleston which opened on September 1st. Jill and Jordan will be hosting monthly events for their peers including Saturday Shabbat brunches, Sunday football watch parties, Tikkun Olam opportunities and more! To find out about their upcoming events, follow them on Instagram, visit their webpage, or email them at moishepodchs@gmail.com.  Looking for a Moishe House community near you? Find a House or Pod.
