Moishe Moment | Make a Mishkan
Parashat Terumah
In Parashat Terumah, God instructs the Israelites to gather materials – gold, silver, fine wood, linen, and more – to construct the Mishkan (tabernacle), a dwelling place where God’s presence can rest among the people. God’s commandment is not only about creating a physical space, but about inviting each individual to offer something personal and meaningful to contribute to this communal space where the Divine and the Jewish people can coexist. The Mishkan is a symbol of the unity and shared purpose that transforms a set of raw materials into a holy community.
At Mem Global, this timeless call to build something sacred together resonates deeply within our mission. Whether you are a Resident of a Moishe House or Pod, an MHWOW Host or a participant at an immersive experience, you are helping to craft spaces defined by the shared energy, passion, and faith of our global Jewish community. Just as the Mishkan was brought to life through collective effort, the communities you’re creating reflect a timeless truth: When we build together, we create something enduring and profoundly meaningful.
