A free and fair election is the foundation of every healthy democracy. What is your responsibility as a citizen and a member of the Jewish community to ensure transparent, inclusive, and accountable democratic processes? While Presidential elections get a lot of attention, the elections happening in midterm years are equally important to ensuring we are well represented by our elected officials, regardless of one’s political affiliation. As we approach the 2022 midterm elections, issues around voting rights and free and fair elections are even more pressing. Join Moishe House, in partnership with Repair the World, for a weekend where we will explore how empowering citizens to exercise their right to vote is an act of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). This event is nonpartisan, and participants will leave equipped with the tools and knowledge to facilitate service learning projects on voter engagement, democracy building and any other topic.
