Kateryna Popova

Global and RSJ Community Manager

Kateryna is our Global and RSJ Community Manager at Mem Global. Originally from Ukraine, she has lived and worked across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. She studied International Education at the University of Nottingham and law at the University of Belgrade. She spent nearly a decade in China working in international education management and developing programming for diverse teams and communities, while also volunteering for a Jewish educational project for children and mastering Chinese calligraphy on the side. After relocating to Mexico, Kateryna continued participating in Jewish initiatives that deepened her connection to Jewish life and developed a serious appreciation for tacos and tropicalized gefilte fish a la Veracruzana.

As a former Moishe House community member in Shanghai, she brings firsthand experience in creating meaningful, local Jewish experiences. She’s excited to support global and RSJ communities around the world in doing their best and most inspired work (and maybe share the occasional dog or cat meme).
