Young Adult Jewish Community Builders Respond to Concerns About Food Insecurity and the Cost of Living Crisis

Moishe House Kilburn residents Georgie Friend, Hannah Arnaud, Nina Morris-Evans and Nicole Jacobus led an education session on June 12, 2023 for young Jewish adults about volunteerism and their response to rising food costs and the increased costs of living. The program, entitled Judaism and Food Insecurity, was held in collaboration with the London Jewish Forum and attended by members of the London Assembly. The discussion centered around Jewish perspectives on food insecurity which led to a broader conversation on issues effecting society. Read the full story here.
