PROGRAM IDEAS:
Pride Parade
- Host community members for brunch before heading to the pride parade. As you enjoy some donuts have a conversation on the history of pride and Judaism’s value of allyship. Take time to learn about the Equality Act and send postcards to representatives to support the bill.

- Cater from a LGBTQ+ owned restaurant and discuss purchase power Bake rainbow challah and learn the roots of the rainbow flag and its connection to Judaism Include Pride blessings and prayers for the LGBTQ+ community

- Host a Jewish learning program event for Pride or add one of these learning resources to an existing event!
Pride Movie Night
- Watch a movie that features queer Jewish artists/narratives and pair with Jewish learning for Pride month. Here are a few good titles:

Pride Tikkun Olam Activities
- Paint/Color cards to send to Point of Pride letting trans youth and adults know they are seen, supported, and valid
- LGBTQ+ Community Center Volunteering – reach out to the local LGBTQ+ center or youth center and ask what service projects your community can help support. Search HERE to find your local center
- Write Postcards for the Equality Act a proposed federal legislation that would establish non-discrimination protections for LGBTQ+ Americans. Write to your senators and urge them to bring the Equality Act for a vote in the Senate. Request postcards from Keshet or provide your own.
