“Sweet Dreams Are Made of These” Jewish Dream Exploration

By Adira Rosen, Jewish Life Specialist

OUTLINE:

Kislev is known as the month of dreams! In this program, explore what Judaism has to say on dreams. This is a Jewish text learning program that can be used in part or in whole and/or paired with another event to add a Jewish learning element. Participants will use Jewish texts to understand what Judaism thinks happens when wedream. This program will also explore dreams in Torah, what to do when you have a bad dream, and offer time to creatively reflect on participants’ own dreams.

TIPS: Pair this learning with a pajama party, or a viewing of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, or a Rosh Chodesh Kislev learning event. And, if you are a Moishe House Resident, consider applying for a Jewish Learning JIO to cover printing costs or art materials.
