Nestled in the rolling hills of Waynesboro, PA, this all-inclusive long weekend is your chance to hit pause on the real world and dive into a world of color wars, campfire sing-alongs, and endless opportunities to explore Jewish traditions on your terms. From nostalgic camp classics like Gaga tournaments and tie-dye to meaningful moments like Shabbat under the stars, every activity is crafted to help you recharge, reconnect, and rediscover your inner child. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or trying it out for the first time, Camp Nai East is your playground for laughter, learning, and memories that last a lifetime.

What to Expect

Your Camp Nai adventure kicks off Friday afternoon and wraps up Sunday with unforgettable memories. Expect a weekend packed with excitement, connection, and plenty of choose-your-own-adventure fun!

What’s Included:

  • Delicious Meals & Snacks: Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and plenty of nosh throughout the day.
  • Cantiki Lounge: Stock up on extra snacks, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and camp swag.
  • Shabbat Moments: Celebrate Shabbat in ways that feel meaningful to you! Start with camp-wide candle lighting and Kabbalat Shabbat experiences, then ease into the weekend with campfire songs, s’mores, and NAIce breakers that bring everyone together. The next morning, join optional Shabbat services and moments of reflection before diving into the day’s adventures.
  • Unique Jewish Experiences: Dive into playshops that make Jewish learning anything but ordinary! Whether you’re exploring traditions through movement, creativity, or even food, these sessions bring Jewish values and stories to life in ways that are as engaging as they are unexpected.
  • Saturday Nai-ght Party: Dance the night away with a DJ, photo booth, obstacle courses, and epic games.
  • Maccabiah & Color War: Dive into friendly competition on Sunday, followed by an award ceremony and a falafel feast.

We’ll send you everything you need ahead of time—your packing list, Color War team, and a weekend schedule—to make sure you’re ready for all the fun!

Choose from private rooms, bunks, or outdoor options—all designed to make your camp experience comfortable and fun. If you have a preferred roommate, and you indicate one another on the registration form, you will be placed together. If you do not request a specific roommate, or do not match with your request, one will be assigned to you – and hopefully will become your camp bestie! Prices vary by option.

Accommodation Options:

  • Private Rooms: Hotel-style room with two queen beds and a private bathroom that’s all yours!
  • Double Rooms: Hotel-style room two queen or twin beds and a private or semi-private bathroom.
  • Triple Rooms: Room with 3 twin beds and a semi-private bathroom.
  • Cabin/Cabin Style: Cabins fit anywhere from 4-20 campers and include bunk beds with linens, a shared bathroom, and storage space.
  • Tent and Yurt Village: Perfect for those that love the outdoors! Please keep in mind, these are not luxury, but will still give you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with your new camp besties for some late-night star gazing! Electrical outlets are included in both the tent and yurt village.
    • Tent Village:  4-6 person platform raised-canvas tents with minimal electricity, and an adjacent bathroom and shower.
    • Yurt Village: Yurts can accommodate up to 12 people and include bunks, and adjacent bathrooms and showers.

Say goodbye to bland camp meals! At Camp Nai, all meals and snacks are Glatt Kosher, with delicious twists on camp classics to suit adult palates. Gluten-free, dairy-free, and other dietary needs are accommodated. Indicate your dietary preferences during registration. We’ll reach out with questions to ensure you’re well taken care of

Camp Nai East takes place at Capital Camps & Retreat Center in Waynesboro, PA. Though it’s close to DC, Baltimore, and Philly, the rolling mountains and starry skies will make you feel like you’re in another world.

Transportation Options:

  • Camp Bus: Round-trip options from NYC, Baltimore, and DC.
  • Drive Yourself: Limited parking passes are available. Reserve yours during registration!
  • Carpool: Ride with a friend to help reduce our carbon footprint.

The cost of registration for Camp Nai Nai Nai is heavily subsidized thanks to the generous support of the Maimonides Fund. We recognize that our subsidized rate may not be affordable for everyone. Camp Nai Nai Nai is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – ensuring that we are a community and space that is accessible and welcoming to everyone. Regardless of one’s background, everyone should be able to experience a time away from their daily life where what you do for a living doesn’t define you and spontaneous adventures await! If you are unable to pay full price for Camp Nai admission, a scholarship fund is available to help cover the cost.
