Nate Strauss (he/him) is an experiential Jewish educator, community builder, and experience curator. Prior to joining Mem Global, Nate worked on campus at Michigan State University Hillel and the Hillel Campus Alliance of Michigan as the organization’s Assistant Director and worked as the Camp Director at Capital Camps and Retreat Center.
A native of Farmington Hills, Michigan, Nate earned degrees in comparative cultures & politics and journalism from Michigan State University and holds a Master’s degree in experiential Jewish education with a certificate in Israel education from The George Washington University.
Aside from working in the Jewish community, Nate is a registered yoga and meditation teacher (E-RYT 200, RYT 500) and teaches weekly classes at local yoga studios. Nate lives in Washington, D.C., with his girlfriend Sara and their dogs, Feeny and Orli.
