Moishe House is proud to be a national partner of the second annual Hamantaschen Monologues, an evening of live and virtual storytelling in celebration of Purim.

In 2021, inspired by Alma’s deep-dive into the history of the Hamantaschen cookie, Moishe House Oakland- Lake Merritt hosted an incredible evening of moth-style storytelling about sexuality and Judaism connected to the themes of Purim. This year, we are so excited to be partnering again with Moishe House Oakland-Lake Merritt alumna Molly Brodsky on the second annual Hamantaschen Monologues which will include watch parties being hosted by Moishe House Oakland-Lake Merritt, Moishe House LA-Kosher as well as numerous other houses, pods, and Moishe House Withouth Walls hosts!

The event takes place on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 5:30 PM PT / 8:30 PM ET. and will feature eight storytellers from diverse Jewish backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Together we will honor their vibrant stories, and through these unique and individual experiences, embrace authentic explorations of Jewish identity in all their messy, ever-evolving glory.

Registration ends March 19th.
