Mem Moment | The Next 20 Years

Parashat Nasso “Elevate”

Parashat Nasso includes the oldest and longest blessing in our tradition. In honor of Mem Global’s 20th Anniversary, I wrote a blessing, as we write our next chapter.

May God bless and keep the Mem Global community engaged and growing together.

  • Community matters. We Jews rely on each other, especially in this hard time in history, and bringing isolated Jews into our community to be seen and heard is vital to our communal well being.

May God deal kindly and graciously with Mem Global through financial stability and its generous supporters.

  • We cannot do any of the work that we do or expand our impact in any of the ways that we dream of without meeting our real material needs and without financial stability.

May God bestow Mem Global favor and grant us the bravery to try new things.

  • Trying new things goes both ways. We want potential Mem Global community members to be brave enough to try out our programs. We also, as a Mem Global team, can be brave enough to be innovative in our programming and in our approach to our work.

What is your blessing for Mem Global for our next 20 years?
