Clayton, GA
Jewish Learning RetreatsJewish Learning RetreatsThreads of Hatikvah: Navigating Israel with 4HQ
Clayton, GA
Educator: David Heilbron
Can we talk about the pil (elephant) in the room? Conversations around Israel are rarely easy or comfortable; yet, as Mem Global community members, they come with the territory. Join us for our Jewish Learning Retreat, Threads of Hatikvah: Navigating Israel with 4HQ, where we will deep-dive into how to create and facilitate questions about Israel. The Four Hatikva Questions (4HQ), created by Robbie Gringras, is a modality used by Mem Global for years as an approach to Israel dialogue that teaches Moishe House Residents, MHWOW Hosts, and alumni how to create programs about Israel that spur conversation, thought, and introspection. Participants will leave 4HQ with facilitation skills, not talking points.
This retreat is in partnership with Masa Israel Journey and being made possible in part through the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. -

What can we learn from Germany in a time of rising global antisemitism? How has the Holocaust and Germany’s Nazi past shaped the country’s role on the world stage and its relationship with its Jewish community?
Join Moishe House in Germany October 20 – 28 for an exclusive trip for Moishe House alumni (community builders, MHWOW hosts, Camp Nai and retreat participants). In partnership with Germany Close Up, we will tackle these questions through a visit to a former concentration camp, meetings with members of the German Federal Foreign Office, and experiences with the local Jewish community. The trip will be based out of Berlin, Germany’s capital and a hub of artists, musicians, and tech talent.
Trip participants must be or become members of Moishe House’s Ambassador Circle. You can become a member by making a $180 donation. The trip is only open to participants from North America. -
